What you need

Fireproof incense burner or bowl made of metal, ceramic, or stone
Charcoal tablets
Charcoal tongs
Lighter or matches
Resin incense

Directions

Place the charcoal tablet in a fireproof incense burner.
Allow it to heat for about 10–30 seconds.
Add a small amount of resin incense on top of the charcoal (about 1/2 teaspoon).
